That is the message I want you to convey to people who are not truly serious but would like to "give it a shot"; and to parents who are obsessed with sending their children to the matching because it will "most likely be the last - and TrueFather has to match and bless my child"..
Harsh? Perhaps. Serious? D*mn right I am!
There will be a matching and blessing at the time of TrueParents birthday in February... _________________ ===============================

When 'Beyond Salvation' is sixteen, he'll get blessed, just like a proper bc should do.
Good work 'Beyond Salvation'. _________________ "Take a train to happy town, woo hoo" - Geico Commercial.

You're absolutely right. Thank you for writing this.
It's so important to go for you only, when you feel you are ready, not for your parents or friends or anyone else. This is the rest of your life you're talking about when you go ahead with the matching and Blessing- on Earth and in the Spirit World. _________________ Live the Core Values |

This isn't going to be the last one father's doing.
I remember they were saying stuff like that in 2000. It may seem kind of silly to think people thought that would be the last one, but at the time the urgency was real.
Ultimately, the person who makes the choice when to go should be yourself. If you want to get matched by father don't go with the mindset that you might get a 'better match' or something like that.
The people applying are generally the same, only the person making the final decision would be father instead of your parents nudging you towards this person or towards that person.
I've had friends say they've met the love of their life after getting matched, and others who felt dissed by 'father's pick,' but still went along with it, through faith.
Just make sure you know what you're getting into before signing up. _________________ "Going home once a year, only to confirm the unfamiliar faces of strangers, left me feeling lonely, nothing more. No one could go home again. Home existed only in the past."

I was just wondering: why does it seem, that girls are the ones who struggle the most with TF matchings? At least from what I've seen around me girls would break a blessing far more often than guys and one would think that if there are always so many girls left out, they would treasure their husbands more.
Any ideas? _________________ Absit iniuria verbis. |

maybe cus boys are more lazy.
i heard from 2 girls that they had to make effort to get contact and conversation going.
so if they see, think, feel it's not going to work out they take the step to break it.
just my guess. |

Or... one could look at it through the eyes of expectation... More often than not, it's the girl who's the hopeless romantic, looking for prince charming to come and sweep them off their feet... when all they get is a standard teenage (yeah...) boy.
On the flip side... the standard teenage boy is looking to get laid.
So weigh those two together... Looking for Mr. Perfect vs. Looking to get laid... Which do you think will be the quicker disappointment? =)
Personally, I think it's expectation that really screws people over when it comes to the Blessing. But that's just my opinion. _________________ "I am the first angel, once loved above all others. But like all true loves, it withered on the vine."

in my sisters case the understanding of love was totally different and i don't know what else played to it aswell.
so that kind of agrees with your romantic theory. but in my sisters way it wasn't as naiv as you pointed it out. they were together ... 3 to 5 years?! i'm not sure |
